About Persian FSS

A Global Home for Persian-Speaking Practical Shooters

Our Story

Persian FSS began as a way to connect Iranian IPSC shooters living outside Iran, who were scattered across many countries without a shared network or credible Persian-language educational resources. Since then, the community has grown into an independent, Sweden-based non-profit open to Persian-speaking practical shooters worldwide.

Mission

Teach practical shooting in Persian, at the highest standard of quality and accuracy; support shooters of every experience level; and build a connected, safe, and ethical community.

Vision

For Persian FSS to become the trusted global reference and community hub for Persian-speaking practical shooters, supporting members who pursue competition at every level, including internationally.

Our Values

Safety

Safety is never optional — in every resource, event, and interaction.

Integrity

We say what's verified and label what isn't, even when that's less impressive.

Inclusion

Open to Persian-speaking shooters of every background, experience level, and country.

Transparency

Our governance, policies, and decision-making are meant to be public and reviewable.

Education

Clear, accurate, Persian-language resources for every stage of a shooter's journey.

International Cooperation

Connecting members and partners across the global Persian-speaking diaspora.

Objectives

  • Educate beginners with the clearest Persian-language IPSC reference
  • Support experienced competitors with news, results, and community
  • Promote safety and sportsmanship in every practice and match
  • Connect Persian-speaking shooters across the globe
  • Build a professional system for membership, communication, and events
  • Operate transparently, with published governance and policies

What We Are — and Aren't

Persian FSS is an independent community and educational organization. We are not a governing body, and we do not claim official affiliation with, endorsement by, or authority over IPSC or any national shooting federation unless a written agreement says otherwise. Local laws, range rules, and official governing bodies always take precedence.

Safety & Ethics

Safety comes first in everything Persian FSS does. Members are expected to follow IPSC safety rules, Range Officer (RO) commands, and principles of good sportsmanship at every practice and match. Read our full Safety & Lawful Participation policy for details.

Our Team

See our Governance page for the latest on our board, officers, and organizational structure as they're confirmed.

Future Plans

From a digital membership card and structured online courses to a community ranking system and support for members pursuing international competition, Persian FSS is continuously growing.

Headquarters

Persian FSS is headquartered in Sweden and operates as an independent non-profit community. See our Transparency page for governing documents and policies as they are published.
