- How do I join Persian FSS?
- Create an account on our Membership page and complete the application form. After review by our team, your account is activated and shown in the member directory, respecting your privacy preferences.
- Do I need an IPSC license to join?
- An IPSC license is required to compete in official matches, but Persian FSS membership is open to anyone interested in practical shooting, from beginner to professional.
- What weapon divisions exist in IPSC?
- IPSC includes divisions such as Open, Standard, Production, Production Optics, Classic, Revolver, PCC, Mini Rifle, and Shotgun. See the Learning Center for full details.
- What are the most important safety principles in practical shooting?
- Following the four universal firearm safety rules and fully complying with the Range Officer's (RO) commands at every stage of a match or practice. See our Safety & Lawful Participation page for more.
- What do I need to do to compete internationally?
- Beyond a valid IPSC license, international travel with firearms and ammunition requires customs and legal permits in both the origin and destination countries. Coordinate with local regulations and the host club before any trip.
- What equipment do I need to start IPSC shooting?
- Generally: a handgun suited to your chosen division, a competition holster and belt, a few spare magazines, and eye and ear protection. Full details are on the Equipment learning page.
- How do I stay informed about upcoming matches and events?
- You can view all confirmed upcoming matches on our Events page, synced automatically from the official IPSC calendar. We also share updates through our newsletter and social channels.
- Is Persian FSS officially affiliated with IPSC?
- No. Persian FSS is an independent, community-focused, educational organization. We do not claim official affiliation, endorsement, or authority from IPSC or any national shooting federation unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise.
- Is there a fee to join Persian FSS?
- No, membership is currently free. If that ever changes, any fee and refund terms will be announced clearly in advance on the Membership page.
- How can I become a Persian FSS country representative?
- You can apply on our International Network page. Applications are reviewed by our team and subject to our governance policies and code of ethics.
