Governance

How Persian FSS is organized, and how members can take part in decision-making.

Board & Officers

Persian FSS is in the process of formalizing its board and officer roles. Names, roles, and terms will be published here as they are confirmed.

Committees & Working Groups

As membership grows, Persian FSS plans to open committees for education, events, and international outreach. Interested members can register their interest via our Contact page.

Governance Framework

Persian FSS intends to operate under published statutes with an annual general meeting, clear nomination and voting procedures, and public meeting summaries where appropriate. These documents will be published on our Transparency page as they are finalized.

Conflict of Interest

Board members and officers are expected to disclose any conflict of interest in Persian FSS decisions. A formal policy and reporting route will be published as our governance structure is finalized. In the meantime, concerns can be raised through our Contact page.

Safeguarding & Complaints

Persian FSS is committed to a safe, respectful community. If you have a safeguarding concern, a complaint, or wish to report misconduct, please use our Contact page and select the appropriate topic — this reaches our team directly.

Our Phased Approach

Persian FSS is a young, volunteer-run organization, and its governance structure is deliberately being built in stages rather than announced all at once. We would rather publish a formal board, bylaws, and reporting procedures once they are genuinely in place than describe a structure that doesn't yet exist.

Each section on this page will move from a description of intent to a concrete policy, name, or document as that stage is completed. Our Transparency page tracks exactly which governing documents are published and which are still in progress, so members can see our actual status at any time.
